Okaloosa County is part of the Northwest Florida region, along with Bay, Santa Rosa, Escambia, Walton, Holmes, Jackson, Washington, Calhoun, Liberty, Gulf, Franklin, Gadsden, Leon, Jefferson, and Wakulla counties.
