Gadsden County is located in northwest Florida, along with Bay, Santa Rosa, Escambia, Walton, Holmes, Jackson, Washington, Okaloosa, Calhoun, Liberty, Gulf, Franklin, Leon, Jefferson, and Wakulla counties. Gadsden County is Florida's only predominantly African-American county. It has a population over 45,000. It is not known just how many Gadsden County residents own shares in Coca-Cola, but a local rumor suggested that the company sent a representative to collect shareholder votes.
