Once the winter home of the famed Ringling Brothers Circus, two of the Ringling brothers invested in Sarasota, establishing a cultural scene stronger than what would be expected of a city its size. The economy is diversified, strong in healthcare and administrative services. Boar?s Head Provision Company is headquartered in the city.
