Lee County is located in the southwest Florida region, along with Collier and Charlotte counties. The communities in Lee County include Bonita Springs, Cape Coral, Fort Myers, Fort Myers Beach, Lehigh Acres, North Fort Myers, San Carlos Park, Sanibel/Captiva, and South Fort Myers. Additionally, Florida SouthWestern State College, formerly Edison State College, is located within city limits.
