Eustis is approximately 20 miles from The Villages (population 51,442) and around 15 miles from Apopka (population 41,542). Located east of Lake Eustis, the city is part of the Orlando-Kissimmee-Sanford Metropolitan Statistical Area.
Eustis is known as the "Orange Capital of the World" because of its prevalence in the citrus industry.
