Eustis is a city in Lake County in East Central Florida. It's population as recorded in the 2010 Census was 18,558. Eustis is approximately 20 miles from The Villages (population 51,442) and around 15 miles from Apopka (population 41,542).  Located east of Lake Eustis, the city is part of the Orlando-Kissimmee-Sanford Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Eustis is known as the "Orange Capital of the World" because of its prevalence in the citrus industry.  The Unites States Department of Agriculture has a research station there devoted to studying plant disease. Eustis is home to outdoor rural attractions such as the Trout Lake Nature Center and Central Florida Nature Adventures. The town is also a center for nearby communities of Rural East Lake County. Some of these communities include Cassia and Pine Lakes. The city's median family income in 2014 was about $40,000 a year.
