Escambia County is part of the Northwest region of Florida, along with Bay, Santa Rosa, Walton, Holmes, Jackson, Washington, Okaloosa, Calhoun, Liberty, Gulf, Franklin, Gadsden, Leon, Jefferson, and Wakulla counties.
